Benidorm hotels have set prices – and they rarely offer decent discounts to individual tourists. But the reputable agencies book in bulk – and can usually manage to negotiate large discounts. We recommend the following agencies – we have used them all and we trust them. There are plenty of other good agencies online. So shop around!
Benidorm is one of the most disabled-friendly resorts in Spain.
There are scores of hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops etc that are well-equipped to cater for disabled visitors. Mobility scooters can be hired from several companies – and, especially in winter, you will see hundreds of them cruising along the promenade and just about everywhere else in the town. There are even wheelchair ramps leading across the beach at several locations – so disabled visitors can take a dip in the Med! My wife is disabled – and we visit Benidorm often – so we know a thing or two about this subject!
Airport transfers. Alicante Airport, has lifts, ramps, and disabled toilets. Wheelchairs and assistance are available on request, and should be arranged in advance with your airline. Help is available at the airport to get you onto your transfer bus. Disabled taxis are also available (book ahead). If you need help getting off the bus and into the hotel – arrange this in advance with your hotel.
Hotel Melia Benidorm has good wheelchair access. Rooms also have disability access showers with shower seats, grab rails where you need them, plus disabled toilets and disabled toilet raisers. They also have adaptations for hearing-impared and visually-impared guests, commode shower chairs, hoists, mobility scooters for hire, and other mobility equipment.
Hotel Gran Bali has excellent disabled access throughout – including wheel-in shower cubicles, commode shower chairs, hoists, grab-rails, mobility scooters and other mobility equipment for hire. Tell them in advance what you need.
Gran Hotel Villaitana has rooms and facilities for disabled guests – including good access to restaurants, leisure facilities, and public areas.
The Royal Benidorm Hotel has wheelchair ramps, shower seats, wheelchair access to leisure facilities, disabled toilets in rooms and public areas, disabled parking.
Hotel Dynastic has disabled access to bedrooms and public areas, plus wheelchair access to leisure facilities, and disabled parking.
Hotel Agir has good disabled access, commode chairs, scooters and other mobility equipment for hire.
Hotel Helios has good wheelchair access and a very disabled-aware culture. Some rooms are adapted for wheelchairs, with wheel-in showers, commode shower chairs, grab rails etc. Scooters and other mobility equipment can be hired – but must be booked before you arrive. Hotel Helios also has wheelchair adapted vehicles – so they can pick you up from the airport if necessary – extra charge applies.
Hotel Mediterraneo has good wheelchair access, and they can arrange commode shower chairs, mobility scooters etc. These are just a few disabled-friendly hotels – but there are many more. Check with the reputable booking-agencies for more options.
Villa La Sonrisa specially adapted villas people with disabilities. This complex also has two specially adapted swimming pools.
Apartmentos Avenida has apartments specially adapted for disabled visitors.
Magic Monika Holidays have rooms and apartments designed to cater for disabled visitors.

There is also a shaded area on the beach with concrete ramps for wheelchair users – and staff on hand if needed. They even have ramps that reach all the way down to the sea – so disabled visitors can take a dip in the Med!
